Ode to Nature

This composite mask of Pierrot with the tear and the astrological symbol of the planet Uranus, the flowering tree, the human embryo, the staff of caduceus (the symbol of the ancient Greek god Ερμή, written as Hermes in English) supported by the astrological symbol of the planet Mercury and the chinese characters for forests was designed and shared with the public for the first time in 1990 during the presentation of my M. Sc. thesis in Forest Sciences. "Wise Use" is written on the fallen tree trunk reminding us the dependance of human life on Nature's well-being and urging us to show reverence and wisdom in our interactions with Her.

The mask and its innate message serve as my logo since then.
